GTA 6 map: Leonida, Vice City and every confirmed region
GTA 6 is set in the fictional state of Leonida. Rockstar has named six regions: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. There is no official full map yet. Claims that the map is twice the size of GTA 5’s come from a Rockstar developer quoted in previews, not from a published figure.

Where is GTA 6 set?
In Leonida, a fictional US state that Rockstar calls “the sunshine state”. Its biggest city is Vice City, a name GTA fans know from earlier games in the series. Rockstar’s own pages never say “Florida”; the Florida comparison comes from outlets such as Game Informer and from Wikipedia.
What is in Vice City?
Rockstar’s site lists “the pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands of Ocean Beach”, “the bustling panaderías of Little Cuba”, the Tisha-Wocka flea market and the VC Port. Note that the neighbourhood is called Little Cuba, not Little Havana. The Jack of Hearts club is also in Vice City: see Jack of Hearts in GTA 6.
How big is the GTA 6 map?
Rockstar has not published a number. After previews in August 2026, Kotaku quoted Rockstar’s Rob Nelson, via a YouTuber, saying the map is twice the size of GTA 5’s and three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2’s. Treat those as preview comments, not an official measurement.
Is there an official GTA 6 map?
Not yet. Rockstar has shown regions, not a full map. “Leaked maps” online are fan-made or come from old development footage. We will add the real map after release.
