GTA 6 on PC: is there a release date?
No. Rockstar has announced GTA 6 only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, releasing on 19 November 2026. There is no PC version, no PC release date and no official PC system requirements. Any specific PC date you see is a guess.
- ConfirmedGTA 6 is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19 November 2026. Rockstar
- ConfirmedNo PC release is scheduled as of October 2026. Wikipedia
- Not knownWhether GTA 6 will come to PC, when, and what hardware it would need. Reports about a 2027 PC version are unconfirmed, and Rockstar has not commented on them.
Will GTA 6 come to PC later?
Possibly, but nobody can promise it. Rockstar released its two previous big games on PC well after the console versions:
| Game | Console release | PC release |
|---|---|---|
| Grand Theft Auto V | 17 September 2013 (PS3, Xbox 360) | 14 April 2015 |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | 26 October 2018 (PS4, Xbox One) | 5 November 2019 |
That pattern makes a later PC version plausible. It is still a pattern, not an announcement, and Rockstar has not said anything about GTA 6 on PC.
Are there GTA 6 PC system requirements?
No official ones. Rockstar has not published PC requirements because there is no PC version. Requirement lists you find online are made up.
Can I download GTA 6 on PC now?
No. Any site offering a GTA 6 PC download, “early access” or a free key is a scam and may carry malware. Do not download or install anything that claims to be GTA 6 for PC.
What should PC players do?
Wait for an announcement on Rockstar’s own channels. We will update this page as soon as there is one. Until then, the console date and live countdown are on GTA 6 release date.
