GTA 6 delays
GTA 6 has been delayed twice. It was first planned for fall 2025. On 2 May 2025 Rockstar moved it to 26 May 2026, and on 6 November 2025 it moved it again to 19 November 2026, the current date.
When was GTA 6 announced?
Rockstar confirmed on 4 February 2022 that work on the next GTA was well underway. The first trailer came out in December 2023, a day early after a leak, and named 2025 as the target. In 2024 Take-Two told investors the window was fall 2025.

Rockstar posted both delays first. For the second delay, Rockstar said the extra months would let it finish the game with the polish players expect.

Yes. GTA V moved from spring 2013 to September 2013, according to Wikipedia.
