Who is Woozie in GTA San Andreas?

Wu Zi Mu, better known as Woozie, is one of the friends Carl "CJ" Johnson makes after he is forced out of Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Wikipedia describes him as a blind Triad leader whom CJ befriends during his exile. According to the GTA Wiki, he heads the Mountain Cloud Boys and shares leadership of the Triads in San Fierro's Chinatown.

His blindness is a running theme. He wears dark glasses, yet the GTA Wiki says he is a capable driver and shooter, though he cannot swim. One of his best-remembered replies to CJ is a reminder that being blind does not make him stupid.

How does CJ meet Woozie?

The meeting happens in the mission "Wu Zi Mu". Cesar Vialpando sends CJ to a spot in the countryside south of Montgomery, where Woozie is running a street race. The GTA Wiki says Woozie sizes CJ up, introduces himself and invites him to race for cash or a car's ownership papers. CJ wins and takes a ZR-350 before the police break the meeting up. It is the start of a friendship that lasts the rest of the game.

What does Woozie do in San Fierro?

In San Fierro, CJ works for Woozie against the Triads' enemies. The GTA Wiki explains that Woozie is keen to earn the favour of Ran Fa Li, the silent head of the Red Gecko Tong, who appears to outrank him. CJ does jobs on Ran's behalf, including an airport pickup and a decoy drive that draws the rival Da Nang Boys away from Woozie's apartment so Ran can leave Chinatown safely.

Woozie's men also take part in the fight against the Loco Syndicate. Wikipedia's summary says Cesar fights alongside CJ and the Triads to destroy the syndicate's drug factory, the operation that also ends with the death of Ryder.

Who owns the Four Dragons Casino?

Woozie opens the Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas during the story. According to the GTA Wiki, the Sindacco crime family causes trouble for the new business, and CJ deals with them. As a reward, CJ is given a one-third share. Woozie, Ran Fa Li and CJ each own 33%, and Wikipedia also describes Woozie as co-owner with CJ and Ran.

The GTA Wiki notes that the casino was still doing well years later. In Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, set in 1998, a Love Fist reunion concert is announced for the venue.

How does the Caligula's Palace heist work?

The biggest job Woozie and CJ pull off together is the robbery of Caligula's Palace, a rival casino run by the Mafia. Wikipedia lists the plan and the raid as part of the main story. The GTA Wiki adds that a custodian's closet in the basement of the Four Dragons serves as the planning room, and that the final mission is "Breaking the Bank at Caligula's". Why is he called the Lucky Mole?

The GTA Wiki says the nickname comes from his remarkable luck. He wins races and games against CJ, and his men sometimes quietly rig things so he comes out ahead, such as moving the cup during his golf practice. The joke runs through his scenes and keeps him likeable even when the stakes are high.

Who voices Wu Zi Mu?

Woozie is voiced by James Yaegashi. Wikipedia lists him in the game's cast, and the GTA Wiki gives the same name. Woozie survives the story and is last implied to be running his San Fierro and Las Venturas interests. He returns in the remastered San Andreas in The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
