Who is Asuka Kasen?

What does Asuka do in GTA III?

When Salvatore Leone tries to kill Claude with a rigged car, Maria turns to Asuka. Wikipedia says Asuka gets the pair out to Staunton Island. Her price is loyalty: Claude must prove he has cut ties with the Mafia, and GTA Wiki names the job Sayonara Salvatore, in which he shoots the Don.

She keeps him busy afterwards. GTA Wiki lists missions against Leone gunmen, a nosy photographer and a crooked police officer called Tanner, then raids on Cartel shipments of the drug SPANK.

Why does Asuka go to war with the Cartel?

Her brother Kenji is killed by Claude on the orders of Donald Love, who wants a gang war to push property prices down. Wikipedia says Asuka blames the Colombian Cartel, takes over one of their construction sites and holds the Cartel man Miguel there, torturing him for information.

How does Asuka Kasen die?

The Cartel strikes back. Wikipedia says Catalina kills Asuka in revenge, and GTA Wiki places the death at the Cartel-held building site in Staunton, where Miguel also dies. Her body is found in the mission Ransom, alongside a note demanding money for the kidnapped Maria, which leads to The Exchange.

Asuka in GTA Advance

Grand Theft Auto Advance, set a year earlier, shows her as a major figure. GTA Wiki says the hero Mike works for her in jobs such as Kid's a Hero and Sue Me Sushi.
