eCola
eCola is the fictional cola brand of Grand Theft Auto's HD era, first seen in GTA IV (2008) and later in Chinatown Wars, GTA V and GTA Online. GTA Wiki calls its logo a clear caricature of Coca-Cola's, and the name plays on E. coli. Its vending machines restore health in GTA IV, and it is owned by The Sprunk Company.
What is eCola in GTA?
eCola is Grand Theft Auto's answer to Coca-Cola. GTA Wiki describes the red-and-white logo as an open caricature of the real one, and lists eCola Light as a take on Diet Coke or Coke Zero. The joke in the name is medical: it reads like E. coli, and GTA Wiki also links it to Ebola.
Its advertising leans into that theme. Slogans recorded by GTA Wiki include "Deliciously Infectious!", "Go viral!" and "Spread the Fizz".
Which GTA games feature eCola?
The brand arrives with GTA IV in 2008 and continues in Episodes from Liberty City, Chinatown Wars, GTA V and GTA Online. Sprunk, which dates back to the 3D era, sits alongside it.

What do eCola vending machines do?
In GTA IV, eCola machines on the streets of Liberty City restore a little health for a small charge. GTA Wiki notes a quirk: the machines dispense cans of Orang-O-Tang, another drink, rather than eCola itself. eCola also offers a phone background in GTA IV.
In GTA V, cans can be bought from vending machines and convenience stores across Los Santos, and the company's shares trade on the LCN exchange. In GTA Online the brand is mostly cosmetic, with clothing, liveries and sponsor decals.
Who owns eCola?
According to GTA Wiki, eCola cans in GTA IV and GTA V say they are canned under the authority of The Sprunk Company. So rather than a cola war, the series pictures both drinks as labels of the same firm.
