GTA 6 is set in Leonida, a fictional state that includes Vice City, and follows two leads, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. GTA 5 is set in Los Santos and Blaine County with three leads. GTA 6 comes out on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, while GTA 5 has been out since 2013 on three console generations and PC.

Where are GTA 6 and GTA 5 set?

GTA V takes place in Los Santos, the series' version of Los Angeles, and the countryside of Blaine County. GTA VI goes back to Vice City for the first time since Vice City Stories, as part of a larger state called Leonida.

Who are the main characters?

GTA V lets you switch between Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton and Trevor Philips. Rockstar has named two leads for GTA VI, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a couple working together in crime.

Is GTA 6 on PS4, Xbox One or PC?

No. Rockstar lists only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. GTA V, by contrast, first came out on PS3 and Xbox 360, came to PS4 and Xbox One in 2014 and PC in 2015, and reached PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in March 2022, according to Wikipedia. Rockstar has not announced a PC version of GTA VI.

How much does GTA 6 cost?

On the US PlayStation Store and Xbox Store, the Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99. In the UK the PlayStation prices are £69.99 and £89.99. Prices were checked on the stores in late October 2026 and may differ in your country.
