Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (2009) has 58 main story missions, according to GTA Wiki, from Yu Jian to the finale, Salt in the Wound. Huang Lee works for his uncle Kenny, Triad rivals Chan and Zhou, boss Hsin Jaoming and detective Wade Heston, among others. The PSP version adds five more missions, including three for Melanie Mallard.
How many missions are in GTA Chinatown Wars?
GTA Wiki lists 58 main story missions in Chinatown Wars. The PSP version adds five more, which makes 63, and two further missions were released as downloads, for 65 in all. Wikipedia confirms that the PSP release has extra missions and a reporter called Melanie Mallard who appears only on that platform.

What is the story arc of the missions?
Huang arrives in Liberty City to deliver the family sword, the Yu Jian, and loses it at once. He then works for his uncle Wu "Kenny" Lee and, through him, for the people competing to succeed Triad boss Hsin Jaoming: Hsin's son Chan and the underboss Zhou Ming. At the same time he helps Wade Heston, a corrupt detective. The jobs gradually point Huang to the traitor inside the Triads, and the trail leads to Kenny.
Who gives the most missions in Chinatown Wars?
Kenny is the busiest contact, with 13 jobs spread over all five of his parts, which suits his role as the uncle who keeps Huang close. Wade Heston comes next with 10, and his line runs to the very end of the game. Zhou Ming and Hsin Jaoming have nine each, Chan Jaoming eight on the DS version, and Lester Leroc and Rudy D'Avanzo four each. Because the parts overlap, a new contact usually opens up while another is still active.
Each mission is also graded, a system our game article notes was later reused in The Ballad of Gay Tony. On phones, Wikipedia says the iOS and Android versions lack Social Club support.

What are the PSP-only missions in Chinatown Wars?
GTA Wiki lists five missions that exist only on PSP. Three come from Melanie Mallard, the independent news reporter Wikipedia describes: Dock'u'mental, Factory Fun and Half Cut. The other two, Parking Pickle and Sources, are extra jobs for Chan Jaoming. Our Huang Lee article also notes that the PSP version swapped the touch-screen minigames for simpler button prompts, which changes how some missions feel.

What is the last mission in Chinatown Wars?
The final mission is Salt in the Wound, given by Wade Heston. GTA Wiki marks it as the end of the story. Our Huang Lee article explains that the game ends with Kenny dead, Hsin arrested by Heston, and Huang offered the leadership of the Triads, an offer he answers with silence.
How do side activities fit in?
Much of the money for Huang's work comes from outside the story. Wikipedia describes the drug-dealing system, where profit depends on local demand around the city, and the CCTV cameras that replace hidden packages.
