PCJ-600

The PCJ-600 is a mid-sized sports motorcycle that has been part of Grand Theft Auto since Vice City (2002), the first 3D game with bikes. It returned in San Andreas, both Stories games, GTA IV and GTA V, where it is badged as a Shitzu. In GTA V it costs $9,000, and Franklin is handed a unique blue one after a mission.

What is the PCJ-600 in GTA?

Among the series' standard sports bikes, the PCJ-600 stands out as light, quick off the line and easy to weave through traffic. It arrived in Vice City, which Wikipedia notes was the first 3D game in which players could ride motorcycles at all, since GTA III had none. Since then it has turned up in almost every main game. What real motorcycle is the PCJ-600 based on?

It depends on the game. The GTA Wiki says the Vice City bike mostly follows the Suzuki TL1000S, with parts borrowed from Honda and other Suzuki models. The San Andreas version is closer to a stripped-down Honda CBR600F2, and the Liberty City Stories model looks more like a Ducati Supersport or Yamaha FZR600.

The modern bike, made by the fictional Japanese maker Shitzu, is a naked roadster. According to the GTA Wiki it mixes features of the Suzuki Bandit GSF600, the Honda CB400SF and the Ducati Monster.

How fast is the PCJ-600?

The GTA Wiki lists the same 190 km/h top speed for the bike in all four 3D-era games. That made it one of the quickest two-wheelers in Vice City and Vice City Stories. In San Andreas, the NRG-500 race bike and the FCR-900 beat it. Speed has a cost: a hard crash throws the rider off, and at full pace that is often fatal.

Where can you get a unique PCJ-600?

In Vice City, Tommy Vercetti can keep a white bike from the Autocide side job, whether he finishes the job or not. In GTA IV, Niko Bellic uses a stolen red-and-gold version in two missions and can hold on to it afterwards.

In GTA V, Franklin Clinton receives a metallic blue PCJ 600 belonging to the paparazzo Beverly Felton when the mission Paparazzo ends. Otherwise the bike sells for $9,000 at Southern San Andreas Super Autos. The GTA Wiki notes that GTA Online dropped it from that dealer with the San Andreas Mercenaries update.
