Supply Lines...
Supply Lines... is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) given by Zero, who runs an RC shop in Garcia, San Fierro. CJ flies a tiny RC Baron plane across the city to destroy five of Berkley's couriers, then lands it back on Zero's roof before the fuel runs out. It pays $5,000 and is widely seen as one of the hardest missions in the game.
What is Supply Lines in GTA San Andreas?
Supply Lines... (the official title ends with three dots) is the second job Carl Johnson does for Zero, a nervous electronics expert who owns a radio-control model shop in Garcia, San Fierro. It follows Air Raid and leads to New Model Army. Gta.wiki notes that it is not needed to finish the story but does count towards 100% completion in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Our GTA San Andreas missions list has the rest of the San Fierro chapter.
Who is Berkley and why does Zero want revenge?
Berkley is Zero's old rival in the model hobby business and the target of all three Zero missions. In the opening cutscene CJ finds Zero hung up in a cupboard by his underwear, where Berkley left him. CJ thinks the best answer is to embarrass Berkley in return, and Zero suggests wrecking the courier network that delivers Berkley's mail-order models.
How does the RC plane mission work?
The player controls the RC Baron, a small model biplane with a gun, launched from the shop roof. Berkley's couriers are on the move around the city, and each must be shot up before it finishes its delivery. There are five targets in total. The plane has a fuel gauge that keeps dropping, and once all couriers are gone CJ must fly it back to Zero's roof to pass. The mission fails if the plane is destroyed or runs dry.

What makes it tough is the mix of a slow, twitchy aircraft, a camera that sits right behind it and a fuel limit that leaves little room for error. Lining the plane up behind a moving vehicle takes practice, and a single crash into a lamp post or wall ends the attempt.

These details come from gta.wiki. During the mission the wanted level is switched off, so local sheriff's deputies will not shoot back even if the plane fires on them.
Why is Supply Lines so famous?
It is one of the best-known difficulty spikes in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Many players name it alongside the train chase Wrong Side of the Tracks as the jobs that held them up the longest. Unlike a normal driving or shooting job, nothing CJ has learned so far helps much here: the weapons, cars and stats he has built up count for nothing once he is steering a toy plane between buildings. Gta.wiki records that David Cross, who voiced Zero, said in an interview that he hated the mission and could not beat it in its original form.
