In GTA Online, The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid forms a heist-style series of missions in GTA Online, released on 7 March 2024 as a follow-up to The Chop Shop update. The player teams up with Vincent Effenburger, the former Diamond Casino security chief who is now a police officer, to raid a Cluckin' Bell chicken factory in Paleto Bay that a drug cartel uses as cover.

What is The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid?

Rockstar structured The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid around a set of linked jobs in GTA Online that plays like a small heist: a string of preparation missions followed by one big finale. Wikipedia lists it as a continuation of The Chop Shop, which came out on 12 December 2023, and dates the raid itself to 7 March 2024. It arrived with a handful of new vehicles and clothing items rather than a new property, so unlike most recent updates it does not require the player to buy anything first.

The target is a processing plant owned by the fast-food chain Cluckin' Bell, a long-running parody brand in the series. In the story the chicken farm is only a front: according to Wikipedia, a drug cartel is running its operation from the site with help from corrupt officers in the Los Santos Police Department.

Who gives the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid?

The contact is Vincent Effenburger. Players who did the Diamond Casino missions will remember him as the casino's head of security; he has since joined the police. Wikipedia says he brings the player in after learning about the cartel's deal with the LSPD. GTA Wiki notes that his opening phone call changes slightly depending on how far the player got in the casino story, and that the first meeting takes place at the Vespucci police station. Planning then moves to an abandoned FIB lockup that serves as the crew's base.

Other familiar faces appear too. GTA Wiki lists Miguel Madrazo, heir to the Madrazo cartel, and his fence Jorge, who buy the seized drugs at the end. It also notes a cameo by Jimmy De Santa from Grand Theft Auto V in the opening cutscene of the first mission.

What are the setup missions?

GTA Wiki lists five preparation missions and a finale. The third and fourth can be done in either order.

Breaking and EnteringGathers what is needed to get inside the plant, including a hacking device and a freight train
Concealed WeaponsTakes untraceable guns and gear from a gang or a private militia
Hit and RunSteals a getaway vehicle that cannot be traced
Disorganized CrimeDisrupts the cartel's supply chain
Scene of the CrimeThe finale: the raid on the factory itself

How does the finale work?

The finale can be played quietly or loudly. GTA Wiki describes a silent route, where the crew sabotages the cartel's trucks, deals with witnesses before time runs out and wipes the security cameras, and an aggressive route that skips that care. The choice affects which bonus awards the player earns. Up to four players can take part, but the whole job can also be finished alone.

How much does The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid pay?

According to GTA Wiki, the finale pays a fixed sum of $500,000 to the leader and $50,000 to each helper, with a one-off award bonus on top for finishing the raid. Rockstar adjusts rewards with weekly events, so treat these figures as the base values. Completing the raid also unlocks trade prices on some vehicles, including a Cluckin' Bell-liveried Benson truck and the Gauntlet Interceptor police car.

Because it needs no business, no rank and no property, the Farm Raid is often suggested to new players looking for an early income source. For the wider picture of how the game's heists developed, see our GTA heists overview.
