Sergeant Jerry Martinez is the first antagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (2006). A corrupt supervisor at Fort Baxter, he drags Victor Vance into the drug trade, gets him thrown out of the army and later tries to have him killed. He ends up allied with the Mendez brothers and dies on a rooftop at Vic's hands. Felix Solis voices him.

Who is Jerry Martinez?

Jerry Martinez is a sergeant at Fort Baxter Air Base, the military post where Victor Vance is stationed at the start of Vice City Stories. Wikipedia describes him as Vic's corrupt superior, the man who pulls him into drug dealing. The game came out on PSP on 31 October 2006 in North America and on PlayStation 2 in March 2007, according to Wikipedia.

How does Martinez frame Victor Vance?

Martinez gives Vic his first jobs. GTA Wiki says these include hiding a drug shipment in the barracks and bringing a woman onto the base. Wikipedia explains that both are then pinned on Vic, who is charged with treason and dishonourably discharged. Martinez gets rid of a liability and keeps his own hands clean.

What happens between Martinez, Phil Cassidy and the Mendez brothers?

Out of the army, Vic still works for Martinez for a while and meets the gun dealer Phil Cassidy on the way. Wikipedia says Martinez then betrays them and tries to have them killed; GTA Wiki names that mission Marked Men. He also tells the Mendez brothers that Lance Vance lied to them, which turns the gang against the Vance brothers.

GTA Wiki adds that Martinez oversaw a cocaine shipment for the Mendez brothers that Vic and Lance stole, and that he later went into witness protection under a fake name before resurfacing to help the brothers.

How does Jerry Martinez die?

Vic, with help from Ricardo Diaz and Phil, tracks him down. Wikipedia says Vic kills him on a rooftop. GTA Wiki places this in the final mission, Last Stand, on top of the Mendez building, where Diego Mendez also dies.

Who voices Jerry Martinez?
