Little Jacob
Little Jacob, real name Jacob Hughes, is a Jamaican gangster in Grand Theft Auto IV (2008). He is second-in-command of a Yardie posse led by his friend Real Badman and becomes one of Niko Bellic's closest allies, backing him in the fight against Dimitri Rascalov and in both endings. Musician Coolie Ranx voices him.
Who is Little Jacob in GTA IV?
Little Jacob is a supporting character in Grand Theft Auto IV. Wikipedia calls him the second-in-command of the Yardies, a Jamaican gang, and one of the first criminal contacts Niko Bellic makes in Liberty City. Over the story he turns into one of the friends Niko can count on most.
His real name is Jacob Hughes. The GTA Wiki (gta.wiki) says he was born in Jamaica around 1982 and later moved to Liberty City with his friend Teafore Maxwell-Davies, known as Real Badman. The pair built up their own posse, and the Homebrew Café in Broker serves as their base. The same page lists arrests for armed robbery in 2001 and burglary in 2002.
How does Niko meet Little Jacob?
The meeting starts as an ordinary taxi job. According to the GTA Wiki, Niko's cousin Roman sends him to pick Jacob up as a fare for the cab firm. An attack on Jacob follows, Niko helps him out, and Jacob starts giving him work. His jobs for Jacob include the mission "Concrete Jungle" and a series of deliveries.
What is Little Jacob's role in the story?
Jacob's real value is as backup. When Dimitri Rascalov betrays Niko and hands him to Ray Bulgarin, Jacob helps Niko fight his way out in the mission "Russian Revolution", the GTA Wiki says. From then on he turns up whenever Niko faces a big fight.
He also helps Niko in his dealings with Elizabeta Torres and in the last job for the agency United Liberty Paper. In that mission, according to the GTA Wiki, Jacob destroys the helicopter of the gangster Eduard Borodin with a rocket launcher.
The GTA Wiki also notes Jacob's worries about Badman. Jacob is fond of his partner but fears that Badman's habits make him paranoid, and he suspects Badman might turn on him one day.
What does Little Jacob do in the GTA IV endings?
Jacob attends Roman's wedding in both endings and stands by Niko afterwards. The GTA Wiki describes his part like this:

What is Little Jacob's friend favour?
Jacob is one of the friends Niko can hang out with once the mission "Shadow" is done. The GTA Wiki says he is available from 1 pm to 4 am and likes drinking, eating, pool, darts and shows, with Cluckin' Bell as his favourite place to eat. At a friendship level of 75 percent, he will sell Niko guns, ammunition and body armour at a 30 percent discount.
Is Little Jacob in any other GTA games?
Not in person. The GTA Wiki lists GTA IV as his only appearance. It mentions a multiplayer job in which Kenny Petrovic's men escort him, and it treats a social media page in Grand Theft Auto V that hints he and Niko are still close as an Easter egg. He does not appear in The Lost and Damned or The Ballad of Gay Tony according to that page.
Who voices Little Jacob?
Little Jacob is voiced by Coolie Ranx, as listed in Wikipedia's GTA IV cast. The GTA Wiki notes that Ranx is a musician best known as a member of the ska bands The Toasters and Pilfers.
