The Comet is Grand Theft Auto's take on the Porsche 911. It first appeared in Vice City (2002), returned in San Andreas and Vice City Stories, and became a Pfister in GTA IV, Chinatown Wars, GTA V and GTA Online. In GTA V it costs $85,000 and in GTA Online $100,000.

What is the Comet in GTA?

The Comet is a rear-engined two-door sports car that copies the shape of the Porsche 911. In the HD era it carries the badge of Pfister, the series' Porsche parody. It is less exotic than the Infernus or Cheetah but has been a steady part of the line-up since 2002; see our GTA vehicles hub for the full picture.

Which GTA games have the Comet?

gta.wiki adds that the GTA IV body mixes in Aston Martin cues at the rear, and that the 3D-era headlights may draw on the Nissan Fairlady Z.

Where can you find the Comet?

In Vice City one waits outside the Leaf Links golf club, and the car often drives through Ocean Beach, Starfish Island and Downtown. San Andreas spawns it in all three cities and lets the player import it from the Easter Basin docks. In Vice City Stories one is parked near Escobar International Airport.

In GTA IV the phone cheat 227-555-0175 spawns one (see GTA cheats); otherwise it is fairly rare. Chinatown Wars sells it for $900, and a modified Triad version sits at Chan's garage in Dukes. GTA V sells it for $85,000 at Southern San Andreas Super Autos, and GTA Online lists it at $100,000 at Legendary Motorsport.

Which missions feature the Comet?

In Vice City, the target of Waste the Wife drives a yellow Comet, and in Death Row Diaz's men chase Tommy and Lance in four of them. In GTA IV, Stevie arrives in a yellow Comet for the race in No. 1, and Packie drives a red one in The Ballad of Gay Tony. In GTA V, the car appears in the mission Reuniting the Family, and it is a regular target for Simeon's export requests in GTA Online.
