Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (2004) has four collectible sets, one per region: 100 gang tags in Los Santos, 50 snapshots in San Fierro, 50 horseshoes in Las Venturas and 50 oysters around the whole state. Snapshots, horseshoes and oysters pay $100 each plus a $100,000 bonus; tags and the other three unlock weapons or perks. GTA Wiki lists tags, horseshoes and oysters as required for 100% completion.

What are the collectibles in GTA San Andreas?

San Andreas replaced the single set of 100 hidden packages from GTA III and Vice City with four themed sets. Each one matches a part of the map and a skill, from spraying paint to diving. GTA Wiki also lists 70 unique stunt jumps, which are not required for completion.

How do tags work in San Andreas?

Carl Johnson has to paint over 100 rival gang tags in Los Santos with a spray can. GTA Wiki notes a tag counts once the message and sound play, even if the paint is not fully covered, and that a full cover takes about 29 units of spray. Spray cans can be found in and around the Johnson House on Grove Street. Spraying near police can earn a wanted level. Finishing the set also upgrades the guns carried by the Grove Street Families, who switch to knives, Desert Eagles and SMGs.

How do you collect snapshots?

Snapshots are taken, not picked up. You need the camera, which spawns at several spots in San Fierro, and the rotating snapshot icons only show through its viewfinder. GTA Wiki says a shot works from long range and even through walls. Between midnight and 5am the locations give off a pink glow that can be seen without the camera. Each photo pays $100.

What do horseshoes do?

The 50 horseshoes around Las Venturas are normal pickups. Each pays $100 and adds 20 points to CJ's Luck stat. According to GTA Wiki, Luck was meant for the casino games but has no effect on play. The full set pays a $100,000 bonus and leaves four weapons outside The Four Dragons Casino on the Strip.

Where are the oysters and what do they give?

The 50 oysters lie in water across the state: under bridges, by piers, in lakes and even in swimming pools. Most need a dive, so they are available from the start, after In the Beginning. Each pays $100 and the full set $100,000. The real prize is the perks: GTA Wiki says the set maxes out lung capacity, lets CJ date girlfriends whatever his looks and fitness, and allows him to make up with girlfriends after a break-up, except the two tied to missions.

How much money do the collectibles give in total?
