GTA Online: Bikers

Bikers is a GTA Online update released on 4 October 2016. It added motorcycle clubs, which work much like CEO organisations, with a clubhouse as a base and five illegal businesses to run. Missions come from Malc, a character from The Lost and Damned, and the update also brought new bikes, weapons, clothing and tattoos.

What is the Bikers update?

Bikers is an update for GTA Online that Wikipedia dates to 4 October 2016. It came a few months after organisations got their first business, and it gave players a second way to lead a group: the motorcycle club. The theme draws on The Lost and Damned, the 2009 episode about The Lost MC, and that game's character Malc gives club missions, according to Wikipedia.

How do motorcycle clubs work?

A club starts with property. GTA Wiki says a player must first buy a clubhouse from the Maze Bank Foreclosures website, then can start a club from the Interaction Menu and act as its president. Clubs hold up to eight members, president included, and new recruits join as prospects.

Each member can be given a role with its own perks. GTA Wiki lists them as follows:

Riding together in formation is rewarded, which pushes members to move around the map as a pack.

What are club work and challenges?

Club work is a set of short competitive jobs the president can launch in the open world. GTA Wiki names Deathmatch, Joust, Stand Your Ground and Caged In among them. Challenges are briefer tasks tied to roles, such as wheelie contests for the president or a race to a point for the road captain.

What are the MC businesses?

The update's money makers are five illegal operations bought from the clubhouse laptop. Wikipedia names counterfeit cash factories and weed farms as examples; our businesses guide lists the full set as a document forgery office, weed farm, counterfeit cash factory, meth lab and cocaine lockup. Each uses supplies to make product over time, which the club then sells, with the usual risk of attack during deliveries.

Later updates kept building on the clubs. The After Hours update in 2018 let the nightclub warehouse store goods from all five MC businesses, and The Criminal Enterprises in 2022 expanded clubhouses again, according to Wikipedia.
