Ambrosia is an industrial region in the heart of Leonida in Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar says the Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs and a local biker gang provides most of the rest, in a place that clings to old-school values. Rockstar has not named a real-world model. GTA VI is due on 19 November 2026.

What is Ambrosia in GTA 6?

Ambrosia is one of the six regions on Rockstar's site for Grand Theft Auto VI, together with Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and Mount Kalaga. Rockstar's region text, published on 6 May 2025 and reproduced by Press Start and Game Informer, places it in the heart of the state and opens by saying that the fight over Leonida's health and wealth starts here.

Rockstar describes Ambrosia as a place that has kept American industry and old-school values alive, whatever the cost. Game Informer summed it up as factories, bikers and "old school values", and added that the screenshots suggest farming plays a part in the local economy too.

What is Allied Crystal?

Allied Crystal is the sugar refinery that Rockstar names as Ambrosia's main employer. According to the region text, the refinery provides the jobs. Rockstar has not said more about the company, such as who runs it or whether it features in missions.

Is there a biker gang in GTA 6?

Yes, according to Rockstar's Ambrosia text, which says a local biker gang supplies "almost everything else" that the refinery does not. Rockstar has not named the gang or said what role it plays in the story. Bikers have been a fixture of the HD games before: The Lost MC appears in GTA IV, leads The Lost and Damned and returns in GTA V. Rockstar has not linked Ambrosia's bikers to The Lost, so treat them as a separate, unnamed group for now.

What is Ambrosia based on?

Rockstar has not said. Wikipedia ties three regions to real places (Vice City, Grassrivers and the Leonida Keys) and lists Ambrosia only among the additional locations, with no real-world model. Some fan sites compare it with particular Florida towns, but we could not find Rockstar or a reputable outlet backing any comparison, so we leave them out.

Where is Ambrosia on the map?
